I had the pleasure of staying at the Village Green Hotel on my 20th birthday (23/07/09) after a meal at The Huntsman Carvery. I stayed at the accommodation with my partner for one night, the whole stay was brilliant. We were lucky enough to stay in room 10, which was very clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and extremley helpful, along with the breakfast which was delicious. The Elmdere house was a nice suprise. Me and my partner found the hideaway after abit of searching and a long anticipated walk up the path (thinking it was somebodys house!!) The snooker table was a great touch and we practically had the whole place to ourselves. The hotel is situated perfectly, which was great when heading home at 11pm! I would definitely stay again!

Our party appreciated the standard of accommodation (particularly as one couple got the Princess Victoria room) and the generous breakfast.
Overall: We were made very welcome and staff were pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. This hotel is a well kept secret, and people in our party have suggested that we use it next year for the gathering we were all attending nearby.

I couldn't stay a second night, as it was full.
Overall: This is a small hotel, but very comfortable. It provides one of the best English Breakfasts I've had in England. The room was small, but had everything we needed. Reception staff are not available 24x7, but everything was ready for us when we arrived late in the evening. It is centrally placed in a delightful village on the edge of Rugby.

The village of Dunchurch was extremely picturesque and the hotel was lovely. Our weekend was enjoyable and our stay at the hotel made the weekend. I have told my friends of the location and recommended it for those would like a quiet break away from the usual city life. Our accommodation was very clean and the staff were very polite and informative.
It would have been appreciated if there had been cooked breakfast at weekends. Cooked breakfast are served Monday to Friday and only continental at weekends where I would have thought that it would have been more popular.

This is a charming hotel with friendly staff very happy to assist in any way. Myself and colleagues stay in the area regularly and usually find a hotel in Rugby. This stay was a much better experience than normal and from now on I will stay here when working in the area and I intend to persuade my company to book this hotel for colleagues as well. My stay here was a pleasure I intend repeating.

‘A fantastic find’

Our son found this little gem where four of spent a wonderful night while touring the countryside of South Western England recently.
Rather than staying in the actual hotel part we were in a detached unit at the back of the hotel. This unit had two bedrooms each with its own bathroom, a living area and kitchen. One of the great things was that the kitchen was very well stocked with a wide range of breakfast foods and drinks, this enabled us to have breakfast in the comfort of our own kitchen without having to get dressed and go to the main dining room.
Everything about the unit was wonderful, very clean and well maintained, well set out and it had ample parking right outside our door.
The staff were very helpful and recommended a nice restaurant just around the corner for our evening meal.
The village of Dunchurch is a quaint little English village with a significant history connected to Guy Fawkes and his fellow conspirators
We can very highly recommend this unit in the hotel especially where four people are travelling together
